The Universal Scholars Journal of Business and Management Research (US-JBMR) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of ethics, transparency, and fairness in publishing. We follow the principles and best practices set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
Editorial Practices
Double-Blind Peer Review
US-JBMR follows a double-blind peer review process. This means both authors and reviewers remain anonymous to each other, ensuring fair and unbiased decisions.
Editorial Board
All manuscripts are reviewed by qualified reviewers who are either members of our editorial board or external experts in the field.
Continuous Improvement
We welcome feedback from authors, reviewers, and readers to help us strengthen the quality and credibility of the journal.
Ethical Standards
Authorship and Contributions
Every person who made a significant contribution to the research must be listed as an author. Others who supported the work should be properly acknowledged.
Originality and Plagiarism
Submitted manuscripts must be original. Plagiarism in any form—copying, paraphrasing without citation, or using others’ ideas without credit—is strictly not allowed and will lead to rejection or retraction.
Conflicts of Interest
Authors, reviewers, and editors must clearly declare any potential conflicts of interest that could affect the objectivity of the research or publication.
Research Misconduct
We do not tolerate fabrication, falsification, duplicate submission, or redundant publication. If found, strict actions will be taken, which may include rejection, retraction, or informing the author’s institution.
Misconduct Handling
-
Investigation: Allegations of misconduct are carefully reviewed, and evidence is collected.
-
Communication: Authors are informed of any concerns and given a chance to respond.
-
Action: If misconduct is confirmed, the journal may reject, retract, or take further steps, including notifying institutions or funders.
Changes in Authorship
Requests to add, remove, or change the order of authors are considered only if:
-
All authors agree to the change.
-
The reason for the change is clearly explained.
If there is disagreement, the issue may be put on hold until all parties reach a resolution, or institutional advice may be sought.
Commitment to Ethical Publishing
At US-JBMR, we are dedicated to building a trustworthy and credible platform for academic contributions. We expect all authors, reviewers, and editors to follow these ethical standards so that research published with us remains reliable, respected, and beneficial to the global community.
